I had been looking for a sturdy hummingbird feeder that didn't look too cheap or tacky for a while when I finally found this one at Walmart for $10.It was the last one that they had, and I wish that I could find it again for the same price or even slightly more (I'm unwilling at this point to pay double the price plus shipping), as I've decided to get several more feeders. Despite the fact that the base is plastic, this feeder is solidly made.The glass bottle is an elegant hourglass shape, the plastic flowers for the feeding ports are a little more intricate than most, and the perch design is clever as well as functional. Most importantly, since hanging the hummingbird feeder, we have attracted not only our resident hummingbird, a Ruby-Throated male that I've jokingly nick-named "Rambo" for his aggressive defense of the feeder, but we've also drawn in several others (hence the need for additional feeders).
