I didn't purchase this through amazon, but from a local garden store. This is a good, solid window feeder for being under 30 dollars. I've had it for about a month and there's been lots of birds, mainly Finches and Cardinals, coming to the feeder all day. They found it very quickly. It is a good size, several birds can come to it at once, and holds quite a bit of seed. The amount of seed it holds tends to keep it filled quite awhile, around five days, and since it sits on the tray, it cannot be kicked out or wasted. Other feeders i've tried the seed is gone in about one day. The only drawbacks are that the feeder is large enough to hold nuisance birds such as Doves, Pigeons, etc, and the plastic on the back of the feeder can intrude the view of the birds sometimes, compared to other feeders...
BUT, I would definitly recommened this item.
