i just ordered my 2nd 36-inch 20-port feeder.I had to ..... as I type there are over 50 goldfinches outside my window all trying to feed!i also have 2 of the Droll Yankees 6 port tube feeders in use, Droll Yankees CJTHM15G 15-Inch Green New Generation Thistle Feeder which I can also recommend but the bigger feeder is probably a best bet.

Goldfinches feed in flocks so the bigger the better! I put my first feeder out in February and within a week was stunned to have them suddenly appear en masse.This is a new home for me and I had no clue what birds might show up to feed.I also purchased Droll Yankees YF Flipper Bird Feeder for feeding other types of birds and keeping the squirrels off - it does work!

Was hoping for Goldfinches with the Nyjer seed and the tube feeders and was I ever rewarded!This is a durable wellmade easy to fill (although it is 3 feet tall) feeder.The only drawback is the amount of thistle seed these lovely creatures can eat!!But it's worth it for the enjoyment it brings me (and my 2 cats who love to sit and watch all day out the window).It's a five star product - just ask a Goldfinch! : )
